Insurance marketplace Lloyd's of London supports digital asset protection policies arranged on the Ethereum chain that can be used for local payments on-chain using cryptocurrencies, thanks to Lloyd's underwriter Evertas and smart contract insurance provider Nayms. In addition to the efficiency benefits of using cryptocurrency to pay policies and using blockchain to simplify the onerous paperwork of intermediaries, the Lloyd's of London consortium supports crypto-native on-chain insurance.
