On July 31st, according to Businesswire, blockchain climate technology company Raad Labs announced the completion of $2.25 million financing, led by CoinFund, with Tribe, EV3 and Protagonist participating.
RaadLabs deploys a distributed sensor network through the DePIN model to improve climate data measurement and prediction. The network can monitor weather patterns, greenhouse gas emissions, wildfire risk, soil degradation, and more. By leveraging web3 technology, Raad can incentivize sensor operators to generate the high-quality data needed for high-precision environmental management.
In addition, TJ Ragsdale has been named CEO and co-founder of Raad Labs, having co-founded the battery storage DePIN protocol Entheos Network.
