The three major U.S. stock indexes ended mixed gains and losses. The Nasdaq fell 1.28%, the S & P 500 fell 0.5%, and the Dow rose 0.5%. Nvidia fell more than 7%, setting a new closing low since the end of May. Most large technology stocks fell, Nvidia fell more than 7%, setting a new closing low since the end of May; Tesla fell more than 4%, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta fell slightly; Apple and Google rose slightly.
