U.S. 5-year and 10-year Treasury yields fell to their lowest levels since March

US 5- and 10-year Treasury yields extended their decline to hit their lowest levels since March, while US stocks fell, suggesting the move was driven by safe haven demand. The yield on the 5-year Treasury fell as much as 5 basis points to 4.02% and the 10-year yield fell nearly 5 basis points to 4.13% as futures volumes increased.
