Ripple CEO accuses SEC of hypocrisy and its enforcement of causing chaos in the crypto industry

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse criticized the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on the X platform, calling it hypocritical. He pointed out that while SEC Chairperson Gary Gensler claims the rules are clear, the SEC's inconsistent enforcement has caused confusion in the industry. Garlinghouse believes that this behavior indicates the existence of a political agenda or a malicious litigation strategy, rather than a true commitment to the law. Previously, Garlinghouse sued Binance Exchange for violating securities laws and listed cryptocurrencies such as BNB, BUSD, SOL, ADA and MATIC as securities. However, these classifications are no longer included in the amended complaint.
