Digital asset infrastructure Roma has announced that it has been granted a virtual asset service provider license by Dubai VARA, which enables Roma to provide regulated virtual asset broker-dealer services to provide clients with digital asset deposit, withdrawal, brokerage and over the counter services.
Roma, founded by Amit Jain, a former managing director of Sequoia Capital, focuses on bridging the gap between fiat and digital assets for global institutions and has raised a $22 million seed round in 2022 led by Sequoia Capital India.
