The US government has once again transferred part of the bitcoin in the "Silk Road DOJ confiscated funds" after nearly four months. James Seyffart, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, speculated that this transfer may be a wallet arrangement to safeguard the confiscated bitcoin.
Previously, on July 2, Coinbase announced that the Department of Justice Marshals Service (USMS), a property forfeiture agency under the Department of Justice, has selected Coinbase Prime to provide custody and advanced trading services for its "Class I" (large asset) digital assets after a comprehensive process. These assets are centrally managed by the USMS to support federal law enforcement.
