On July 28, sources said that advisers to the Harris campaign have been reaching out to key players in the crypto industry to build relationships that could eventually inform the regulatory framework. In recent days, this outreach effort has included cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, stablecoin firm Circle, and blockchain payments firm Ripple Labs, the report said. The message Harris wants to send is that Democrats are "pro-business, responsible businesses," the sources said.
