According to the latest report released by investment bank TD Cowen, the CBDC Anti Surveillance Act proposed by Tom Emmer, the whip of the US House of Representatives Majority Party, last year may be voted on alongside the highly anticipated stablecoin bill, which could undermine both parties' support for the stablecoin bill, as Democrats generally believe that at least the value of cryptocurrency issued by central banks should be explored. The senior leaders of both parties have been negotiating for many years to reach a stable currency bill. Previously, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated that the central bank has "far from" proposing or adopting CBDC.
