Ministry of Foreign Affairs: China will conduct the fourth round of shuttle diplomacy on the Ukraine crisis

On July 26, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that the Ukraine crisis has been escalating for nearly two and a half years, the war is still going on, the prospects for peace talks are still unclear, and the conflict is at risk of further escalation and spillover. In this context, China will send Li Hui, the Chinese government's special representative for Eurasian affairs, to visit Brazil, South Africa and Indonesia from July 28 to carry out the fourth round of shuttle diplomacy on the Ukraine crisis. We will further confer with important members of the "global south" on the current situation and the peace talks process, discuss how to cool down the situation and accumulate conditions for the resumption of peace talks.
