The three major U.S. stock indexes ended mixed gains and losses. The Dow rose 0.2%, the S & P 500 fell 0.51%, and the Nasdaq fell 0.93%. Most large technology stocks fell, Google fell more than 3%, Microsoft fell more than 2%, Meta and Nvidia fell more than 1%, Netflix and Amazon fell slightly; Tesla rose about 2%. Ford Motor fell more than 18%, its biggest one-day decline since 2008. Occupational health services provider Concentra Group's U.S. IPO broke on its first day of trading, falling more than 4%.
