Pavel Durov, Telegram's chief executive, said recently that 2024 was expected to be a pivotal year for blockchain adoption, "and that 2024 will go down in history as the year hundreds of millions of people became familiar with blockchain. Durov further revealed: "We will also step up our efforts against scammers targeting new users in the crypto space. Soon, Telegram will start showing the month of registration and the main country for public accounts (similar to Instagram). We will also allow organisations to publish hashtags for channels using their Mini Program, creating a decentralized marketplace for third-party verification."
