Spectra (formerly APWine), a decentralized revenue protocol, has released a review of recent security incidents.
At 15:00 UTC on July 23, the attacker successfully hijacked user transactions on Spectra, affecting a total of 4 wallets, causing a loss of about 168 ETH. The Spectra core protocol contract was not affected, and the funds in the contract were safe. The application was restored on the morning of July 24.
Spectra added that the current priority is to recover the funds of affected users, and the team has contacted relevant authorities and relevant third parties, including exchanges and third-party security companies, for their support in tracking and recovering funds.
Spectra has also sent an on-chain message to the hackers, allowing them to return 90% and keep 10% of the funds, after which they will not be held accountable.
