Base announces proof of failure is now live on its testnet

On July 24th, Base announced the launch of proof-of-failure on its testnet, allowing anyone to raise or challenge L2 status proposals without permission. This move is a fundamental step towards decentralization for Base. Base also plans to add security boards to its contract upgrade keys to further decentralize. Base will continue to work on building a more decentralized ecosystem to enhance the scalability and transparency of Ethereum.
