The three major U.S. stock indexes all ended slightly lower, with the S & P 500 down 0.16%, the Dow down 0.14%, and the Nasdaq down 0.06%. Big tech stocks were mixed, with Amazon up more than 2%, Meta, Google, Apple, and Microsoft edging up; Tesla fell more than 2%, Intel fell more than 1%, and Nvidia and Netflix fell slightly. UPS fell about 12%, a record one-day decline.
