Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino believes that increased competition in the stablecoin market is creating a more resilient environment, while USDT is gradually "decoupling" from other cryptocurrencies. Since the daily trading volume of USDT usually exceeds the sum of BTC and ETH, he believes that USDT is evolving into a "global payment system".
