7月23日消息，Taiko 表示自从主网上线以来，其团队一直在努力优化协议，已将 L1 Gas 成本降低了 30%以上，同时保持了合约的可升级性。随着团队继续完善 Gas 优化策略，现将重点转移到新功能和改进上，并已确定了几个关键的开发领域：
1、增强 L2 EIP-1559；
2、交易预确认（Transaction Preconfirmation）；
3、引入新的交易类型 Sponsored Transactions；
4、Cancun EVM 支持；
5、启用合约使用 Calldata 作为 DA；
6、增强最小层（Min-Tier）选择。
此外，Ontake 升级版本将包含上面概述的几个特性和改进，计划在 10 月之前在 Hekla 测试网上开始测试，然后在今年 Q4 进行主网升级。
