Anatoly Aksakov, chairperson of the financial marekt committee of the Russian State Duma, said universal international settlement using the Russian digital ruble would not be realized until 2026.
By 2025, the authorities plan to expand the current pilot phase to implement these transactions within Russia, Aksakov said, after which the authorities will roll out and test their functionality at home and abroad.
