7月22日消息，2014 年 7 月 22 日以太坊正式启动 ICO 融资，团队当时通过预售 ETH 的方式筹集资金，总共筹集到 31,529 枚比特币（兑换比例为 1 比特币兑换 2000 以太坊），按照当时的市价计算，筹集资金超过 1800 万美元。
十年后的今日，纽约证券交易所 ARCA 正批准包括 VanEck、Invesco、Fidelity、21Shares、Franklin Templeton 在内的 5 支以太坊现货 ETF 上市。
正如以太坊研究员 Justin Drake 所言，“ETH 是区块空间货币。自 EIP-1559 以来，已有 430 万 ETH 被烧毁以支付 gas 费用。还有数百万 ETH 将被用于区块空间。通过质押，ETH 为以太坊提供了 1000 亿美元的经济保障，是比特币的 10 倍。ETH 也是 DeFi 和再质押的优质抵押品，为价值互联网解锁了规模经济带宽。ETH 现在已被广泛认可为数字商品。机构之旅即将开始。”
