Bitcoin briefly surged above $68,000 on the back of optimistic predictions for the U.S. election, before stabilizing around $67,500 in early Asian trading on Monday. 'We expect the market to rise further as Trump's main economic policy is to lower interest rates and lower borrowing costs,' said Lucy Hu, senior analyst at Metalpha. 'This will definitely boost all risk assets, including BTC.'
Hu added that in the medium to long term, until the 2025 election, we expect BTC to continue to rise.
