July 19th news, Polygon Chief Information Security Officer Mudit Gupta said that because of a bug in the latest version of Crowdstrike falcon EDR, causing endless crashes and reboots on Windows devices. Currently, most of the global IT infrastructure is down, including emergency services, airports and stock exchanges. Polygon Labs also uses Crowdstrike, but we are not affected because we will not roll out non-critical updates to employees until testing. In any case, the Polygon network is decentralized. Even if Polygon Labs is affected by such an IT incident, the Polygon network will not be affected in any way.
