U.S. cyber security stocks rose premarket, with Palo Alto Networks up 4.4 percent, Zscaler up 2.6 percent, Fortinet up 2 percent and SentinelOne up 6.8 percent.
Previously, Microsoft experienced a severe service outage. Cyber security software company CrowdStrike said it had received a large number of reports of blue screens on Windows computers. The company's engineering department determined that the problem was related to content deployment and has now restored these changes.
