On July 19, the U.S. stock market closed on Thursday. The Dow index initially closed down 1.29%, the S & P 500 index fell 0.78%, and the Nasdaq index fell 0.7%. NVIDIA (NVDA. O) bucked the trend and closed up 2.6%. Apple (AAPL. O), Amazon (AMZN. O) and Google (GOOG. O) all fell below the 2% line. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.2%. XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) and JD.com (JD. O) fell more than 2%.
