Polyc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs, stated that the L3 network is simply transferring value from Ethereum to building the L2 network of L3, and does not require L3 to expand. He believes that the value of Ethereum does not entirely depend on the L2 network. If all L3 networks converge on one L2, it will threaten the security of Ethereum. He emphasized that they focus on Polygon PoS and BONSAI, not caring where people build L3 networks, but rather not wanting to attract all value to the Polygon network, but rather sharing it fairly with Ethereum.
