Arthur Hayes, former CEO of BitMEX and Chief Investment Officer of Maelstrom, announced the launch of the Bitcoin Funding Program by Maelstrom, a family office fund. The goal of the program is to help Bitcoin's technical development and enhance its resilience, scalability, censorship resistance and privacy features. Applications must be submitted by August 25, 2024.
The grant application period for project grants is 12 months and is paid monthly in BTC, USDC or USDT. The grant amount per developer ranges from $50,000 to $150,000.
