Fractal Bitcoin, a Bitcoin extension developed in collaboration with UniSat and Block Space Force, said on its social platform that the current testnet will undergo several resets before the launch of the Fractal mainnet. At this stage, testnet tokens are distributed only to the initial group of developers who test the core functionality. The testnet tokens do not have any real value or incentives and are not converted to the mainnet in any way.
In addition, the testnet will soon be available to everyone, and the community will have enough time to experience it.
According to the official website, Fractal is a Bitcoin scaling solution that uses the Bitcoin core code itself to recursively scale infinite layers on top of Bitcoin, enabling block confirmation times of 30 seconds or less and a 20-fold increase in the capacity of each layer.
