Google unveils AI video tool Google Vids

Google on Monday launched a beta version of its new generative AI video authoring tool, Google Vids, among select users of its Workspace suite of applications for businesses. Google Vids uses Google's Gemini AI and Vertex AI technologies to create customizable PowerPoints based on user prompts containing text, audio and video. Google Vids will be available first in Google Workspace Labs to "a small group of trusted testers", the company said.
