U.S. stocks close: Dow hits new high, Trump concept stocks rise 30%

On July 16, the U.S. stock market closed on Monday, with the Dow initially closing up 0.5% or 220 points, setting a new closing high. The S & P 500 index rose 0.28%, and the Nasdaq index rose 0.4%. Trump Media Technology Group (DJT. O) rose 31%, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 1.7%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell 0.6%, and Apple (AAPL. O) rose 1.6%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 3.6%, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 2%, and JD.com (JD. O), Baidu (BIDU. O) and Bilibili (BILI. O) fell more than 5%.
