According to Cointelegraph, on September 6, 2023, the victim suffered a phishing scam worth $24.20 million, losing 9,579 Lido Staked Ether (stETH) and 4,850 Rocket Pool (rETH) tokens.
But ScamSniffer first discovered it on July 13, and the fraudster returned some of the funds using Dai (DAI) stablecoin in two transactions last week. Etherscan data shows that the first transfer returned $5.23 million on July 8, while another $4.04 million transfer was sent on July 13. However, no explanation has been given for these sudden transfers.
