Russia is considering allowing major local licensed exchanges to offer digital currency trading services

On July 15, the Russian Ministry of Finance proposed to allow licensed exchanges such as Moscow Exchange and St. Petersburg Exchange to provide digital currency trading services to selected qualified investors. Anatoly Aksakov, chairperson of the State Duma financial marekt committee, believes that Russia's largest exchanges are ready to handle cryptocurrency trading. He stressed that once the legal conditions are established, exchanges should be able to start crypto trading quickly without any problems.
