According to the data released by analysts of TRM Labs, a blockchain forensics company, in 2023, the TRON network will account for 45% of the illegal transactions in the encryption field, followed by Ethereum and Bitcoin networks, accounting for 24% and 18% respectively. TRON has also become a favorite network of hackers associated with North Korea. These hackers often exchange stolen funds on the TRON network, mainly U.S. dollars against Türkiye dollars (USDT). These laundered cryptocurrency funds will be converted into legal tender through large OTC brokers.
