MakerDAO announced the Spark Tokenization Grand Prix, which aims to tokenize $1 billion of real-world assets and bring them to MakerDAO. The contest is open to all innovators and issuers, and selected partners will receive liquidity support of up to $1 billion.
Applications will open on August 12, 2024, and will be judged by judges such as Phoenix Labs and Steakhouse Financial, with criteria including pricing, liquidity, and strategic alignment. Ultimately, MKR token holders will vote on the winner through governance.
