On July 11, according to people familiar with the matter, Tesla (TSLA. O) has postponed the launch of its self-driving taxi Robotaxi from August to October to give the project team more time to build more car prototypes. A few months ago, Tesla CEO Elon Musk set the launch date for August 8. Optimism about the upcoming launch event drove Tesla's stock price up for 11 consecutive days. Shortly after the delay, Tesla's U.S. stock fell more than 6% in intraday trading.
