On July 11, Tether said that as of September 1, 2025, Tether will no longer be obligated to accept USDT or EURT exchanges on Omni, Kusama, SLP, EOS, and Algorand. Tether will freeze all remaining USDT or EURT on Omni, Kusama, SLP, EOS, and Algorand on September 1, 2025. Tether customers who hold USDT or EURT on Omni, Kusama, SLP, EOS, and Algorand should redeem their holdings as soon as possible, or, if required, request the issuance of USDT or EURT on a supported blockchain, in accordance with their terms of service. Holders who are not customers can migrate their USDT or EURT holdings to a supported blockchain through available service providers, subject to the terms of these providers.
