Starknet says that STRK staking is coming to Starknet soon, aiming to add more utility to STRK tokens and gradually increase the degree of decentralization of the network. According to the disclosure, the testnet and mainnet will go live in the fourth quarter of 2024. During this initial stage, neither StarkWare nor Starknet Foundation will participate in staking activities, so neither StarkWare nor Starknet Foundation will be eligible for any staking rewards. In addition, all locked tokens cannot participate in staking at present.
