Venture capital firm Electric Capital has launched a new tool, dubbed the Crypto Market Map, that divides projects into six technical layers, from core infrastructure to end-user applications. The map tracks more than 1,500 projects, providing a structured visualization of the industry's framework. The company says the tool can help stakeholders navigate the industry's increasingly complex issues by helping users understand and make more informed decisions.
According to Electric Capital, the six technology layers are core infrastructure, scaling, interoperability, developer tools and services, protocols, and applications.
