US stocks close: Nasdaq hits new high for 7 consecutive days

July 11 news, U.S. stocks closed on Wednesday, the Dow initially closed up 1% or 430 points, the S & P 500 index rose 1%, setting a new closing high for 6 consecutive trading days, the Nasdaq index rose 1.18%, setting a new closing high for 7 consecutive trading days. Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 0.35%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 2.7%, Apple (AAPL. O) rose 1.8%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index fell slightly, XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) rose more than 7%.
