Decentralized social media protocol Farcaster has seen an all-time high in customer engagement, with the platform reaching an all-time high of more than 73,700 independent casters last week. The protocol has generated revenue of 611.03 ETH.
One possible reason for the surge in users is the announcement by founder Dan Romer that they are working on a new tool to make in-app payments using USDC. The feature is designed to solve the long-standing problem of having to find someone's alphanumeric wallet address and allows users to send directly via Farcaster ID.
