CFTC Chairperson: Uniqueness of crypto forces CFTC to reassess cyber security

On July 10, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett tweeted that U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown asked U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairperson Rostin Behnam what the CFTC had learned from previous cryptocurrency frauds. Behnam said the technology behind digital assets is "very unique and different" from traditional asset classes, which "forces our agency to ask different questions around cyber security and operational resilience."
