据香港特区政府新闻公报，特区政府7月10日欢迎深圳前海微众银行股份有限公司在香港设立其科技公司总部，并计划在港投资达1.5亿美元和创造高技能科技职位。今年6月国家金融监督管理总局深圳监管局消息显示，该局已原则同意深圳前海微众银行在香港设立微众科技有限公司，出资1.5亿美元并持有微众科技有限公司100%的股权。微众银行也成为首家获批设立科技子公司的民营银行。
