On July 9th, Masa, a decentralized AI data chain, announced the launch of an LLM-based AI data subnet on Bittensor, a decentralized AI network. The subnet leverages Bittensor's P2P machine intelligence network to accelerate the aggregation, transformation, and acquisition of AI data, enabling AI developers to build AI applications anywhere in the world. The Masa Bittensor subnet provides real-time and static data from multiple data sources, including X, Discord, Podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, The New York Times, and Google Search.
In addition, Masa becomes the only real-time token in the Bittensor subnet ecosystem, where validators and miners of protocols and subnets can earn double token staking rewards through MASA and TAO. The Masa Foundation will support MASA through repurchases or distributions.
