On July 8th, Boerse Stuttgart, Germany's second largest stock exchange, will expand its market data to include cryptocurrency ESG (environmental, social and governance) data provided by Crypto Risk Metrics and distributed through Boerse's existing network. Initially, ESG data for around 30 cryptocurrencies will be available, with plans to expand further. The move is in line with the upcoming European Union MiCA (Crypto Asset Market Regulation) regulation, which requires crypto asset providers to publish sustainability data. Ethereum received an AA rating, while Solana and Cardano received an A rating. The service will enable banks, brokers and cryptocurrency providers to easily comply with regulatory requirements.
