Web3 bug bounty platform Immunefi has partnered with the Ethereum Foundation to launch "Attackathon", a large-scale collaborative audit competition for the Ethereum network. The event features a time-limited code review program to spot bugs in the core protocol and invites top security researchers to participate in Ethereum's security and technical review efforts.
Ethereum developers and ecosystem projects have been invited to contribute to the program's reward pool. The Ethereum Foundation has offered a $500,000 reward pool to reward security researchers and developers who discover security issues and vulnerabilities.
