On March 30, on March 29 local time, the Russian Federal Security Service said that Russian law enforcement officers had arrested three suspect trying to launch terrorist attacks in the Stavropol border region. According to reports, the three suspect were all foreign citizens, and Russian law enforcement officers seized improvised explosive devices and chemicals at the suspect's residence. The Stavropol Territory is located in the northern part of the Great Caucasus Mountains, adjacent to the Chechen Republic and Dagestan Republic of Russia.
