Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley stated on the X platform that the halving of Bitcoin in April 2024 may be the most impactful event in history. The reason is that the last time Bitcoin halved occurred in 2020, with a price of approximately $9000. Therefore, in US dollars, the decrease in supply is approximately 9 million US dollars per day and approximately 3 billion US dollars per year. Bitcoin will be halved to approximately $70000, which will increase by more than three times in US dollars: approximately $32 million per day, or approximately $11 billion per year.
