On July 4th, at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2024), Tesla's second-generation humanoid robot Optimus was officially unveiled. According to the relevant person in charge of Tesla, the second-generation Optimus has increased its walking speed by 30% on the basis of walking upright; its fingers have also "evolved" to "be able to handle eggs and heavy objects with ease" in addition to perception and touch. Recently, the second-generation Optimus has tried to "work" in the Tesla factory.
