Waves Founder: Units.network Ecological Governance Token Plans to Launch in September

On July 4th, Waves founder Sasha.waves revealed part of the token economics Units.network sidechain network in a post on X. According to reports, Units.network is an EVM sidechain ecosystem launched on top of the Waves blockchain. The upcoming blockchain is Unit0, and its native token will also serve as a governance token for the entire ecosystem. All sidechains and Waves itself are backed by a miner community, so Waves miners will also receive sidechain tokens as rewards. Unit0 tokens are scheduled to be launched in September. Waves community members, testnet and TVL event participants, miners and seed round investors will receive token distributions. Many Waves community members hold L2MP tokens, which they get by exchanging for USDN (XTN). L2MP holders will be able to claim Unit0 tokens regularly by pledging L2MP.
