On March 29th, it was reported that in the case against the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Judge Katherine Polk Faila believed that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had "fully demonstrated" that Coinbase operates as an exchange, clearing house, and broker under the law. She demanded that the SEC and Coinbase submit a case management plan to the court before April 19th.
