The Chinese coast guard expelled Japanese vessels illegally entering the territorial waters of the Diaoyu Islands according to law

On July 4th, Liu Dejun, a spokesperson for the Chinese Coast Guard, said that from July 2nd to 4th, the Japanese fishing boats "Tsurumaru", "Shankyomaru 2" and several patrol vessels illegally entered the territorial waters of our Diaoyu Islands. Chinese coast guard vessels took necessary control measures and warned them to leave in accordance with the law. The Diaoyu Islands and their affiliated islands are China's inherent territory, and we urge the Japanese side to immediately stop all illegal activities in the waters. Chinese coast guard vessels will continue to carry out maritime rights protection and law enforcement activities in the waters under their jurisdiction in accordance with the law to safeguard national sovereignty, security and maritime rights and interests.
