In a filing with the Securities Exchange Commission on July 3, Bitwise amended the Form S-1 registration statement for its Ethereum Spot ETF in advance to include a waiver of sponsorship fees for the first $500 million trust assets for the first six months. The filing did not include a specific launch date for listing and trading on the NYSE Arca, but said it would begin "as soon as possible" after the effective registration date.
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart previously reported that the revised Ethereum ETF-1 form submitted by Bitwise again said that the Ethereum spot ETF product could be available later next week or the week of July 15.
